Pamela Robotham – Director/ Solicitor
Pamela Robotham has dedicated over 40 years to advocating for individuals facing homelessness and poor living conditions. Since 2019, she has served as the Director of Greenwich Housing Rights, where she continues to champion housing justice.
With more than 35 years of practising housing law, Pamela has worked across both in private practice and the non-profit sectors. Her career includes roles at a well-known Aid Legal practice, Cambridge Housing Law Centre, Deptford Housing Aid, and the College of Law, where she also led the London Pro Bono Clinic. Her Legal Aid expertise spans both private practice and community-focused legal services.
Pamela has contributed to the development of specialised housing initiatives, including projects for a major housing charity and ran a small housing scheme supporting young people with Sickle Cell Anaemia.
A qualified trainer and lecturer, Pamela has delivered training on all aspects of housing law, taught law at Southbank University, and trained College of Law students in Legal Aid practice. She has also trained students and provided herself, accessible legal education to local community groups.
Pamela brings extensive governance experience, having served as a trustee for several local, London-wide, and national organisations. She is currently the Vice President of the South London Law Society and serves as Chair of the Windrush Justice Clinic, where she advocates for justice for those affected by the Windrush Scandal.
Ola Alalde – Senior Solicitor
Ola has over three decades experience of Legal Aid work, having trained at a high street private practice. With a background in employment, immigration and general litigation Ola moved to specialise in housing law in a number of Law centres joining Greenwich Housing Rights as the Senior Supervising Solicitor in 2010.
Ola also manages the Duty Advice Scheme which Greenwich Housing Rights runs at Bromley County Court.
Elizabeth Laing – Housing Advisor
Elizabeth joined Greenwich Housing Rights in 2018 as a Housing Adviser. Previously to that, Elizabeth worked in homelessness as a team leader for a local authority. She has also been part of a Primary Care Team working for the safe discharge of homeless hospital patients by getting them interim accommodation; and later as an Assistant Social Worker in Adult Social Care with responsibility for homelessness.
Ian Webb – Duty Advisor
Ian joined Greenwich Housing Rights in May 2015. He has over 6 years’ experience of providing representation services to clients facing eviction or possession proceedings at Bromley County Court.
