Pamela Robotham – Director/ Solicitor
Pamela joined Greenwich Housing Rights as Director in December 2019 from Cambridge Housing Law Centres where she was the Law Centre Manager, responsible for the legal services, development and income.
Pamela has over 35 years housing experience. She developed special housing projects for Hyde Housing Association and then ran a small housing project for young people with Sickle Cell Anaemia. She is a solicitor with over 25 years Legal Aid experience in private practice and the Not Profit housing advice sector, including Deptford Housing Aid and the College of Law, where she also ran the London pro bono clinic.
Pamela is a trained trainer/lecture and has; run training sessions on all aspects of housing law, taught law at Southbank University and has also trained College of Law students in Legal Aid practice and to provide Streetlaw legal Sessions to local community groups.
Pamela has significant governance experience and has been trustee of several local, London wide and National agencies. She is currently a board member of South London Law Society, the Law Centres Network and is a founding member of the Windrush Justice Clinic.
Ola Alalde – Senior Solicitor
Ola has over three decades experience of Legal Aid work, having trained at a high street private practice. With a background in employment, immigration and general litigation Ola moved to specialise in housing law in a number of Law centres joining Greenwich Housing Rights as the Senior Supervising Solicitor in 2010.
Ola also manages the Duty Advice Scheme which Greenwich Housing Rights runs at Bromley County Court.
Jennifer Blyth – Senior Solicitor
Jennifer’s career now spans 2 decades in the legal industry, starting as a legal secretary then progressing through paralegal work and training as a solicitor for high street, legal and national private law firms. With a background in debt recovery, employment law and general litigation Jennifer became a housing law specialist in 2011.
Jennifer joined Greenwich Housing Rights as senior solicitor in 2019. In the course of examining their legal options Jennifer aims to help her clients in crisis identify and take steps to resolve the underlying problems that give rise to their housing issues.
Nerys Cookson-Williams – Trainee Solicitor
Nerys joined Greenwich Housing Rights in February 2021 as a Trainee Solicitor. Nerys’ placement is funded by the Justice First Fellowship, a scheme which is dedicated to training future social justice lawyers.
Prior to joining Greenwich Housing Rights, Nerys worked in Mental Health and Education Law as well as most recently working in the charity sector supporting homeless people.
Elizabeth Laing – Housing Advisor
Elizabeth joined Greenwich Housing Rights in 2018 as a Housing Adviser. Previously to that, Elizabeth worked in homelessness as a team leader for a local authority. She has also been part of a Primary Care Team working for the safe discharge of homeless hospital patients by getting them interim accommodation; and later as an Assistant Social Worker in Adult Social Care with responsibility for homelessness.
Ian Webb – Duty Advisor
Ian joined Greenwich Housing Rights in May 2015. He has over 6 years’ experience of providing representation services to clients facing eviction or possession proceedings at Bromley County Court.
Christopher Lambert – Crisis Navigator
Christopher has over 6 years in the advice sector. He joined Greenwich Housing Rights in 2019, having previously worked as a Crisis Navigator at Cambridge House Law Centre.
Loraine Bavington – Administrator
Loraine joined Greenwich Housing Rights in September 2015 and is responsible for and manages all the administrative tasks for the organization.
Loraine also manages reception, so if you visit our office, she will likely be the first person you meet.
